Top five common Iranian food you can serve in restaurants

In this post Top five famous and very delicious Iranian food that you can eat in restaurants every place in Iran, will be introduced.

#1- Chelow Kabab Koobideh: Kabab or Kebab is very famous and common in restaurants, it is not a typical homemade food because cooking process is a little difficult. So Iranians used to eat Kebab in restaurants.

Notice: Chelow or Polow refer to cooked rice.

Main ingredients of Kabab are ground lamb or beef.  In other words, Kebab is barbecued mixed of meat, onions, egg, salt and pepper. Also many people like to eat kabab koobide with bread.

#2- Kabab Barg: Kabab has another famous type which is called Barg. It is only barbecued lamb or beef.

#3- Joojeh kabab: Grilled chunks of chicken

#4- Qormeh Sabzi: it is an Iranian herb stew, that usually served with cooked rice (Polow). Qormeh Sabzi is the most famous homemade food in Iran. It is a traditional cuisine that most people like it. The ingredients are a mixture of herbs, beans and chopped beef.

#5- Qeimeh Polow: Qeymeh is an Iranian form of stew, that usually served with cooked rice (Polow). Qeimeh is the most common food that Iranian people cook in religious ceremonies like Ashoora.
